Based on the grounds of the remarkable Ashford Castle, our amazing Birds of Prey location couldn’t be better placed for you to get up close and personal with our range of beautiful creatures. Combined with the stunning scenery which surrounds the castle, a truly memorable day is exactly what you can expect from the moment you arrive. With no previous experience required for you to take part, we are able to accommodate for anyone aged 7 and above. When you experience Falconry in Cong, you’ll be presented with a full safety briefing on arrival, with our qualified instructors providing you with expert guidance throughout the duration of your chosen session. All that’s left is to enjoy your awe-inspiring Falconry experience!

Hawk Walk

Your instructor will introduce you to your hawk and, within minutes, you will be setting off around the magnificent woodlands to fly your hawk, or team of two hawks, free. As you fly the hawks, your Falconer will explain about the hawk’s exceptional eyesight, their speed and agility and also about the individual hawks that you are flying, their characters and temperaments and how easy or difficult they were to train. All of the hawks have been trained by ourselves. Rates €95.00 for one participant €75.00 each for two participants (€150.00 in total) €65.00 each for three participants (€195.00 in total) €55.00 each for four to ten participants.

Exstended Hawk Walk

Suitable for anyone aged 14 and above, this 90-minute session allows you to go for a longer walk in the woods giving you more flying time and a greater insight into the hawks' world. It's the perfect option for those who know they are going to love it. All of our Hawk Walks are private experiences, we do not join different people together who do not know each other, you will have two hawks and a falconry instructor all to yourselves, and spectators are welcome to accompany you free of charge. Rates €125.00 for one participant €100.00 each for two participants (€200.00 in total) €80.00 each for three participants (€240.00 in total) €70.00 each for four participants (€280.00 in total) €65.00 each for five to ten participants

Based on the border between County Mayo and County Galway, our amazing Birds of Prey centre can be found on the grounds of the amazing Ashford Castle. The N84 road network is a short drive away from our location. Full travel information will be printed on your booking confirmation receipt.
